What an incredible day at the Back-to-School Backp What an incredible day at the Back-to-School Backpack Event at Norte Vista High School! It was an honor to welcome so many amazing students and families from across Riverside County, and we’re truly grateful you could be part of it. 🙏 This event was created to support TK–12 students who are in foster care, experiencing homelessness, or facing housing insecurity — and together, we made a real impact: 📚 916 students received backpacks, school supplies, and other essentials 👨‍👩‍👧 657 parents, guardians, and caregivers participated alongside their students 💛 1,573 individuals served in just one day Thanks to the support of our community partners, we were able to provide school supplies, brand-new shoes, haircut vouchers, grab-and-go lunches, groceries, and access to valuable local services — all with the goal of helping students start the school year with confidence. ✨ Thank you for showing up, giving back, and making this day one to remember. 🤎

Here’s what you need to know before you arrive: ✅ Park in the designated volunteer parking area (check email). ✅ Head to the Volunteer Check-In Booth before your shift. ✅ Get your Project Boon T-shirt upon arrival (have your shirt size ready!). ✅ You’ll receive your shift assignment during check-in. Your donation brings more than pencils and paper—it brings confidence, hope, and a stronger start to the school year. 🎒 We are on a mission to supply 400 backpacks to schools across the 210 Corridor. We’re looking for volunteers to help us support hundreds of local families by distributing groceries, backpacks, and essential school supplies to students in need. 🎒 Start your weekend by giving back and making a real impact in your community.
