Meet Carlos

Carlos Ernesto Vega Castrejón is 11 years old and lives with his parents and siblings. He attends elementary school but misses his classes often for work. The majority of his time is spent harvesting crops on a tomato farm. It’s hard work, but he doesn’t mind since it allows him the freedom to spend his own money on things he likes.

One of his favorite activities and lifetime passions is soccer. One way Project Boon can help him is by providing access to professional soccer training opportunities.

His community is in desperate need of electricity and he would like to eventually learn how to make pizzas and work at a pizza shop.
