Project Boon was excited to host a new event for 2025: ‘Kick Off The Summer!’ which took place on May 31st in Fontana, CA. This initiative supported under-resourced families and students as the school year concluded, helping to address the gap left by the end of school-provided lunches.
At “Kick Off The Summer!”, attendees receive nutritious groceries and essential supplies to help bridge the summer nutrition gap. The event also features engaging activities for children, fostering a sense of community and celebration as summer begins.
“Kick Off The Summer!” aligns with Project Boon’s mission to uplift under-resourced communities through events that connect individuals, organizations, and resources. By addressing food insecurity and providing necessary items, we aim to empower families and ensure children have the support they need during the summer months.
