Coronavirus: The Effect On Project Boon Events

The world is dealing with an issue of enormous scale and human impact. Our hearts go out to those affected by the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Project Boon has been closely monitoring the rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and is committed to putting the health and safety of our volunteers and event attendees first. We have followed information from local, state, and federal agencies and health officials to make sure we are making informed and fact-based decisions regarding Project Boon events.

At this time, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all Project Boon events through April. This includes our Easter Basket Building Event and our Annual Easter Event with IVRS. We will continue to monitor developments and make any necessary decisions regarding future events. At this time, the Volunteer Appreciation Brunch is NOT canceled.

Our event with the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario, scheduled for Monday, March 16, is also canceled due to the suspension of all games by the NBA G League organizations.

Project Boon is dedicated to providing volunteer opportunities for our community and resources to the underserved in a safe environment. We are in talks with our strategic partners about adding events to our Summer calendar. Please keep an eye on your inboxes and social media feeds for future updates.
